Caribbean Summer!
We have really enjoyed having our friends from A & F Sails Antigua stay with us for the last 3 weeks. Franklyn and his son Rashidi have swapped life on a Caribbean island for the best island in Essex. Thankfully they even packed some sunshine for us to enjoy.
Rashidi has been helping out at home with repairs but wanted to understand more about making new sails. He got stuck straight in and helped with creating sails for a T24, Sigma 33, Luffe 46 and Oysters ranging from 47’ to 66’.
A & F Sails are based in the beautiful setting of English Harbour, Antigua (coincidentally also the home of the best rum in Antigua!) and have a Loft that is capable of undertaking repairs on sails, canvas and upholstery on everything from day boats, custom racers, Oysters, bluewater cruisers and classics. A skilled team is on hand throughout the Caribbean season to offer the full range of washing and servicing.
